When GM resurrected the Z06 package for the C5 Corvette in 2001, it changed the world of American sports cars. Fun and fast, the Z offered performance in a package that could be lived with and driven daily. This beautiful Le Mans Blue 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 represents the final year of the C5, and with just over 100k miles, it has plenty of life left to be enjoyed by its new owner. This Z16 Commemorative Edition car is just one of 2,025 made and the only way to acquire a Corvette painted in this breathtaking color on the C5.

Inside, we find the original black leather interior that features all of the modern luxury amenities that helped make the Z06 able to be a daily-driven supercar. Power locks, windows, seats, mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, and a heads-up display all sit within arm's reach of the comfortable and supportive bucket seats.

Under the hood, we find a 5.7-liter small block V-8. Unlike the LS1-equipped base C5, the Z06 received an upgraded LS6 motor with a higher lift camshaft and better-flowing heads. The post-2001 LS6 motors in stock form put down an incredible 405 hp and 400 pound-feet of torque. At the same time, the redline was increased to 6,500 rpm (versus 6,000 in the base car, so owners could listen to that small block wind out another 500 rpm before grabbing the next gear. Speaking of gears, all that power is channeled through a rear-mounted Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission via an upgraded Hurst shifter before exiting the free-flowing stock dual exhaust.

This beautiful 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 rides on a fully independent suspension with an Eibach lowering kit. Staggered 17-inch front and 18-inch rear ten-spoke factory chrome wheels are shod in low-profile rubber.
