If you ever wanted a Mercedes and a fixer-upper car, here is your chance to own both in one shot. This 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250S does need a lot of TLC, but with the right amount of time, minimal skills, mixed with some confidence and some YouTube training, this could become a very nice, reliable classic luxury car. Being that this isn't a rare model and it's mostly stock, finding parts for it should not be very hard. At this point, you could restore it back to stock, go custom, or drive it as is it's still a Mercedes.

It has the stock red leather interior that goes well with the Papyrus White exterior color. Gauges are in decent condition along with the climate controller and clean door panels. The whole dashboard seems to be the high point for the interior of this Mercedes. This car, like most of the 60s, supports a large trunk with plenty of room for whatever you need it for, and has a spare tire just in case.

The engine compartment looks mostly stock. The 152 cubic inch straight-six with Weber carburetors could probably use a serious turn up. Mated to the engine is a 4-speed automatic transmission that connects to a factory rear end. The suspension is stock-style and seems to make the Mercedes still drive like a luxury car. Stock 14-inch wheels with beauty rings wrapped in 205/70R14 tires need some help. Power disc brakes go all the way around, and a stock-style exhaust with an aftermarket muffler lets out the Benz's exhaust fumes.

Although this 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250S has seen better days, it's still a Mercedes-Benz that could be a good investment.
