Inside, we find a well-done black vinyl original-looking interior. The four-speed console has been made to work with the trick slap shifter. The modern three-spoke steering wheel looks almost period correct, while another subtle upgrade is the AM/FM radio that proudly displays the Chevy logo.

Under the hood, we find a monster 454 cubic-inch V-8 engine. Feeding that big block is a single four-barrel Holley carburetor that is mounted on an Edelbrock intake manifold before being sent out through its long tube headers that connect to a FlowMaster dual exhaust that erupts with a sound only a big block can make. That power is sent through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission before heading out to the 10-bolt rear end.
