Under that vented hood lurks a 396 cubic-inch V8 that's fed by a 4-barrel carburetor sitting on top of an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. It pairs with a 3-speed automatic TH400 transmission to make up a vital and period-correct drivetrain. With a pair of aftermarket mufflers in place, a tap on the accelerator provides the commanding exhaust note you'd want in a muscle car like this. Power steering makes for easy navigation and because this classic tracks nice and straight and stops promptly when needed, it's a lot of fun to drive.
