Fed by a Holley 750 CFM single four-barrel carb that routes fuel through a Bowtie 502/502 Hi-Rise intake manifold, this engine uses open chamber/large oval port heads donated from an LS-5 454 V-8. A set of Doug's D320 long tube headers send spent gasses through a 2.5-inch FlowMaster American Thunder exhaust to give this 427 a ferocious bark that can only come from a Golden Age big block.
