That is why this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Convertible Tribute has gone to great lengths to make this car as close to the original as humanly possible. Dual full-length white racing stripes complement the beautiful Cranberry Red exterior, announcing to the world this car is serious about performance. Inside, we find a well-done black and white original-looking interior. The level of detail in this tribute car is exceptional. Under the hood, we find a monster 454 cubic-inch V-8 with a build date code of March 1969. Feeding that big block is a single four-barrel Holley carburetor that is mounted on an LS6-correct GM Winters aluminum intake before being sent out through its dual exhaust for a sound only a big block can make. That power is sent through a Muncie (with an Autogear replacement case) four-speed manual transmission, operated by a floor-mounted shifter inside the cabin, allowing this drop-top to engage and entice all your senses at once.
