Inside, we find out why the GTX was oftentimes referred to as "the gentleman's muscle car." Restored to its stunning factory P6V Premium Trim Grade white-and-red interior, the car features a factory center console that separates its white door panels and matching bucket seats. Chrome trim gives this car an upmarket vibe, while its correct factory red steering wheel, dash, and five-pod rectangular gauge cluster, featuring a large, easy-to-read 150 mph speedometer, take center stage. Under that expansive scooped hood, we find a 440 cubic-inch V-8 engine. That massive power is routed through an A727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission before heading out to an 8.75-inch rear end. Those ponies are transferred to the pavement via a set of 14-inch Rallye wheels shod in 215/75R-14 Coker Classics Redline tires.
