NICE TRI-FIVE! 5.7L LS1 V8, TREMEC 6 SPD MANUAL, PS/PDB, LEATHER INTERIOR, RUNS & DRIVES GREAT!

Out of all the car models in the autoverse, the Chevy Bel Air holds a special place in enthusiasts' and collectors' hearts. Although many don't realize that the Bel Air trim spanned seven generations and more than three decades of Chevrolets, from 1950 to 1981, more often than not, the model's second generation garners the lion's share of the attention (and resale value). The Tri-Five cars, as they're known, began with the 1955 model and continued on for the 1956 and 1957 model years. The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod we have for you today stands out as a unique example. With just 1,645 miles since it was built, this Bel Air comes with two new doors, a fiberglass cowl hood, upgraded headlights, a cool high-mounted stop LED light logo, and a PPG Zanzibar (aka Metallic Brown) full repaint, helping it stand out as one of the hallmarks of the Golden Age of automobiles.

Inside, we find a stellar custom interior. A center console, complete with cupholders, separates a pair of late-model GTO power-adjustable leather bucket seats. A custom power-assisted wheel is mounted on a chrome tilt column from Ididit, sits ahead of a trick five-pod, white-faced AutoMeter gauge cluster set against a billet ... Description

A custom power-assisted wheel is mounted on a chrome tilt column from Ididit, sits ahead of a trick five-pod, white-faced AutoMeter gauge cluster set against a billet bezel. Vintage Air is set up but needs servicing, while a custom AutoSound AM/FM head unit handles soundtrack duties.

Under the hood, we find a body-color engine bay featuring an iconic LS1 V-8 engine which was also donated by a late-model GTO. With its aluminum block and heads, composite intake manifold, and cool body-color valve covers, this modern small block originally produced 350 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. This particular motor has been upgraded with a set of PRC heads and long tube headers, undoubtedly adding a few more ponies to the corral. Whatever the number, that power is routed through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission before being sent out to the ten-bolt rear end.

If you've never experienced what it is like to pilot a Tri-Five Chevy down the road, or if you have a collection of them already in your driveway, and like potato chips or French Fries, you need just one more, this restomodded classic might just be what you've been waiting for.
