440 V8, 3SPD AUTO, POWER STEERING/BRAKES, RUNS & DRIVES WELL, SHARP LOOKING RIDE

Very cool, very luxurious, and very rare, this 1967 Chrysler Imperial Crown coupe is the special kind of classic car distinction reserved for a very select few. It's a big block cruiser preserved with a kind of grand vintage style that will make people pay far more attention to this than any $100k modern luxury cruiser that parks next to it.

The Imperials were the top dog of the Mopar lineup. So while we call it a Chrysler, it really was from a brief period where this brand was available for an exclusive few. So while the styling was new for 1967, this popular year still meant less than 3,300 Imperial Crown coupes were produced. It's this kind of rarity that has led to decades of respect. So all the right elements remain in place to make this a detail-oriented luxury coupe. It includes the outstretched front fenders with insignia turning lights, the classic hood ornament, a red pinstripe to preview the interior, the intricate fender skirts that allow the lower trim to run uninterrupted, and the hallmark Imperial bird prominently featured in the rear. The Persian White paint is correct for the car, and so is the half-vinyl top. It all looks clean and complete with still keeping an ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

It all looks clean and complete with still keeping an overall cruiser-ready style. The one upgrade you'll likely spot is the Billet Specialties wheels set. They have the right intricate design to go with this Imperial's personality and allow you to fit modern touring tires.

A full-size luxury coupe means the interior space can almost be measured in acres. The bright red with black accents looks vintage, preserved, and genuinely premium. The high degree of originality inside will excite classic car lovers down to details, like the working power locks, dome lights, and the AM/FM radio. This is even a factory A/C car; most components are still in place if you restore the feature. This is a true classic, but it also likes to appeal to your practical side. The colossal trunk has space for a weekend golf getaway (and more). And it's quite a driver-oriented setup with a fold-down armrest and tilt/telescopic steering column giving you an individual level of comfort. Plus, the power windows mean you can show off the pillarless hardtop profile without leaving the driver's seat.

The engine bay is another reason why you want an Imperial. The top Mopar gets the top motor: the big 440 cubic-inch V8. Not only is this the correct displacement, but the date codes line up well for it to possibly be the original engine block. Everything looks correct, including the bright blue on the block and the four-barrel carburetor on top. Plus, you can spot good fundamentals, including the correct double belt system and a newer alternator. On the road, the supple suspension combines with the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern Kumho tires to deliver a proper classic luxury experience.

The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and Certicard warranty card (showing this was first sold in southern California.) This is a rare opportunity at a luxury classic designed to own the road. Call now!
