This 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible has an upgraded attitude all around. The color, the driver-oriented features, the V8 power, and the upgraded suspension are all about delivering a distinctive car that makes it more fun to hit the road and put the wind through your hair.
The '69 Mustang is often seen as the pony car that started to break away from the mainstream herd and focus on sporty style. This one takes that idea to heart. It has classic performance pieces from across the Mustang's first generation, like the Boss-style chin spoiler and dual exhaust tips routed through the rear valence. And there are upgraded details, like the blackout rear panel and large rear spoiler. And the stance is terrific with the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that are a larger 17-inch in size to fill the wheel wells better. It's all wrapped up in metallic orange that will remind you of an orange tootsie pop. The full package is very much a driver-quality execution, and that seems right on this one. Because as you dig into all the details, you'll see a car that wants to ensure you will never be too nervous about hopping in on a whim and going for a drive.

We like the look of the black roof against the orange. After all, it feels like the chocolate center of our tootsie pop. So it's nice to see it power down to reveal a full black interior. This one looks nice from a refresh later in life, and it never gets too fancy for you to think twice about letting everyone hop in for an ice cream run. And part of this driver-ready feeling is because it has the right upgrades for a better cruiser. This includes an armrest center console with cup holders. The AM/FM/CD stereo includes Bluetooth and a full subwoofer speaker system. Plus, they upgraded to a three-spoke sports steering wheel, Lokar floor shifter, and crisp Dakota Digital gauges for a true upgraded driver's experience.
When you pop the hood, you see a terrifically clean presentation with a powerful style thanks to the Shelby-like long air grabber, and Holley finned valve covers. At the center of it all is a 351 cubic-inch Cleveland V8. It has been given all the right performance investments like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and an H-pipe dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. So it warms up to be a nice power package with a proper V8 rumble. The undercarriage has a clean style that shows newer investments, like subframe connectors and sway bar bushings. Plus, features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brake, front disc brakes, and modern ZR-rated sports tires give this a solid driving attitude.
The 1969 Mustang had a more distinct style, but this one has the power and poise to make it a unique and driver-ready classic. Call now!
