DESIRABLE BODY STYLE, 350 V8, 5SPD TRANS, POWER STEERING/BRAKES, CLEAN IN & OUT!

This 1949 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window pickup is a very cool mix of classic style and true cruiser appeal. You see it in the combination of sleek paint, vintage curves, a small-block V8, five-speed, an upgraded suspension, and plenty of real wood in the truck bed.

The metallic orange on this pickup looks so candy-coated that you might need to nickname it Tootsie Pop. Of course, paint can't look this slick unless it's applied over good bodywork. So you'll love how this modern finish highlights the curves that make these 3100s an icon of post-war America. This restoration was completed only about 10 years ago and there's under 4,800 miles on the build. So the whole package has that ideal style where you see plenty of care without being too fancy to drive. You understand that best in the stance. It's lowered for a sporty style, and while the tires look like classic whitewalls, they are really modern BF Goodrich touring tires. There are other subtle ways this shows it's an upgraded classic like the color-matched running boards and the Chevy bow tie stamped in the tailgate. But it never loses that ideal vintage flair. It's seen in the bright grille with the correct white background, the ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

It's seen in the bright grille with the correct white background, the two-piece windshield, and all that real lumber in the truck bed.

The desirable five-window cab lets in more light to show off the inside. This interior keeps plenty of the right vintage attitude with the worthwhile upgrades added in. For example, you have the classic large/grippy steering wheel and the art deco dash, but they are now both done in orange to match all the metal parts inside as well as the exterior. The seat is a classic bench style but it's now far comfier with upgraded padding and a soft cloth. It even has a custom '49 Chevy emblem in the seatback. There are upgrades for a better cruiser, like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, seatbelts, and the beginning provisions for air conditioning (the compressor is in the engine bay, but you will need more components to complete the system.) And you realize you have an upgraded diving experience when you spot the Omega Kustoms readouts and count the ears on the shifter.

The engine bay has a fresh and clean look. In fact, it's a fresher crate V8, and we're told there's only about 2k miles on the motor. It's built with the right performance pieces, like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are even good supporting components like an aluminum radiator and serpentine belt system. It's a powerful package, and the five-speed manual transmission gives you better control than Chevy ever offered on the 3100. You see the upgraded Heidts tubular A-arm front suspension as you look underneath. Power steering, brakes, and front discs make for an excellent cruiser.

The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and maintenance receipts. This is the sleek Chevy pickup that you also know was built for driving. So don't miss this very cool custom. Call now!
