This rare 1971 GMC Sprint is a great way to get the look of an El Camino, but with a more distinct and interesting character. Not only are they a rarer sight today, but in this debut year, the Sprint was made in small numbers - only 5536 were produced for the 1971 model year. By comparison, Chevrolet delivered 41,606 El Caminos that year. There was a solid investment in this GMC with nice body panels, bright chrome bumpers and a distinctive Light Palm Green paint. The look is further enhanced with the addition of a set of chrome 15-inch American Racing wheels wrapped with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires staggered 215/65R15 front and 235/60R15 rear for just the right stance.
The clean Sandelwood interior features a comfortable bench seat, sporty 3-spoke GMC logo steering wheel, under-dash Autometer temperature, oil pressure and volt gauges, Polk Audio speakers located behind the seat, and a factory AM/FM radio. Additionally, there is a tachometer mounted in the factory clock location. The driver and passenger are kept cool with a factory air conditioning system.
