This 1972 F-100 Ranger XLT is a pickup with an awesome period-correct look, right down to the two-tone paint. And as you look closer, the pickup has a few of the best subtle extras, like cold-blowing A/C and a nice V8 exhaust note. The result is a terrific classic that you can really enjoy.
The two-tone blue is a terrific classic color combination. It's a driver-quality finish that will get you respect when pulling up to the stoplights. It makes for the right look of a true truck that's both vintage and useful. The full-length side trim provides a nice dividing line for the two-tone all along the body, and it helps to announce this is a premium Ranger XLT. And we love the little cruiser details, including the half chrome headlights, full bed rails, and the bright dual exhaust tips. The full paint and trim have the right look for a cool cruiser that wants to head into an era of earned respect and patina, but it's also so clean, complete, and straight, that you may just give it a respray if your future plans include a show-stopper.

The interior continues the vintage cruiser attitude. The door panels, carpeting, and dash all coordinate with the theme established by the exterior. And we especially love the seat. It's impressively done with light blue textured inserts and dark blue piping. So you get a classic bench seat style but with a much more premium presentation and feel. It has some nice classic details, like the clear factory gauges, wood-like inserts in the dash, classic dual-spoke steering wheel, and working dome light. And while the air conditioning is the classic under-dash unit, it's a modern update blowing cold with R134a refrigerant.
Under the hood is Ford's 302 cubic-inch V8. It's a period-correct motor that looks good with bold blue block paint with matching valve covers and air grabber. Plus, the belts, wires, and hoses look fresh and tidy. This well-maintained appearance translates into a V8 that fires up nicely, idles smoothly, and it makes a sweet sound out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. So you'll also be glad to have great driving features like power steering, touring tires, and a smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission.
The sale comes complete with plenty of paperwork, including the factory buildsheet, owner's manual, original warranty card, and title documentation backing up the understanding that this is a lifelong North Carolina truck. This is the classic truck that's a great classic cruiser. Call now!
