390CI V8, 3SPD AUTO, POWER STEERING/BRAKES, NICE 2-TONE PAINT, CUSTOM INTERIOR!!

This 1962 Ford F-100 Unibody is a very unique pickup. It has a rare body design, a cool two-tone, a comfy interior, upgraded suspension, and a big V8 under the hood. It all makes for a custom pickup that was meant to be enjoyed to the fullest.

These unibody pickups are quite a nice find. They were only offered for the first few years of the fourth-gen F-Series, and since they were an option, not everyone got one. So this one loves to showcase its rarity with a custom two-tone that highlights the nearly seamless profile. After all, that long silver streak on the side looks awesome. Many of the body's sheet metal creases provide separation from the red on the upper end, and on the bottom, the red gives the fenders extra flare. It all looks quite clean thanks to the addition of the black pinstripe further defining the boundary. There are more great custom details, like the color-matched, later-model grille, dual exhaust tips, color-matched bed liner paint, and Pacer 15-inch wheels. The overall impression is quite attractive, but it never tries to get so fancy that you'll get nervous taking it out on the road. After all, part of the fun of a custom truck is getting it out there so ... Please ask for the full description.

The overall impression is quite attractive, but it never tries to get so fancy that you'll get nervous taking it out on the road. After all, part of the fun of a custom truck is getting it out there so others see it.

The interior has an attractive and useful style. The white bench seat is quite distinctive, and the smooth dash is done in an exterior-matching red. Plus, the black carpet has a plush feel, and it's nice and dark so you don't always worry about dusty shoes. You have good comfort upgrades like an AM/FM/CD stereo and provisions for R134a air conditioning (it will need servicing.) There are also great driver-ready upgrades, like the tilt steering column, Lokar-style floor shifter, a large tach, and AutoMeter Sport-Comp auxiliary readouts. So it reminds you this is a truck that's built for driving.

Ford's 390 cubic-inch V8 is a great motor for hardy power. It's the ideal kind of setup where you know you'll love to do a little tinkering on a Saturday morning to dial-in the right performance for your weekend cruising. It's built with polished fabricated valve covers, an Edelbrock intake, and we're told it's topped with a new Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. And long tube headers add both power and rumble as this V8 exhales through the dual exhaust. It's built to be a driver, and so you have an upgraded independent end, a three-speed automatic transmission, newer shocks, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front.

This is the rare classic Ford truck that has been upgraded so that you can show off its uniqueness with style, power, and comfort. Call now!
