The idea is to keep the exterior as authentic as possible, and so you even have Magnum 500 wheels with reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires.

More of the sporty attitude continues inside. In fact, while the exterior is red with black accents, that's reversed inside. The high-back bucket seats have the correct Ford knit-style pattern and an awesome red streak going across the top. This coordinates nicely with the addition of red floor mats. There are plenty of nice classic-style features, like the wood paneling, center console, and even the factory AM radio is still on display. Overall, it gives you the right mix of vintage features while still making it easy to hop in on a whim and go for a drive.

The engine bay is ready to showcase right now. It likes to keep the same classic and clean look like the rest of the coupe. The powerplant has a freshened-up look with the Ford blue paint, and there's a powerful style with the finned valve covers and Cobra Jet callout on the big air grabber. This is not the original 428 motor, but it's still a proper large FE block. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a terrific tune from the H-pipe dual exhaust. Ford's three-speed transmission is an ideal pairing that's stout enough for the power while also being an easy-cruising automatic. The same goes for features like power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
