RARE MODEL, 350CI V8, TH350 3SPD AUTO, POWER STEER/BRAKES, RUNS/DRIVES WELL, WOW

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car is an awesome classic with an in-demand style unique to these loaded limited edition icons. But this also sets the pace in a different way. It was upgraded with a well-built small block that's part of a solid driving package that could still have you leading that pack at the Indy 500 if they asked.

This is a true Z11-pace car replica. That means it wasn't one of the few on the track (or else you'd add a zero to the end of this price.) But it is one of only 3,675 examples ever built. That wasn't even nearly enough to put one in every dealership, and so people have been seeking these out from day one. Of course, they are also in-demand because of their style. Hugger Orange debuted for this year, and it's arguably the boldest way to have your first-gen Camaro. But rather than paint the whole car, it was used for an exclusive set or racing stripes against a crisp Dover white. It's an awesome style where the white looks clean, especially with the coordinating white top in place. And the stripes look extra bold as they help highlight the cowl hood and rear spoiler. Plus, these pace car replicas were real-deal Rally Sports and Super Sports. That means ... Please ask for the full description.

That means you get the blackout SS grille, a deep chin spoiler, and awesome hidden headlight front end (doors are currently manually operated.) Overall, this is quite a desirable package with newer paint and well-fitting panels, nothing goes overboard to be too fancy to drive. That's because you'll really start to see how this one was made to be enjoyed to the fullest.

With the touch of a button, the top powers down to reveal one of the most attractive interiors ever. The houndstooth cloth interiors are quite rare, and it's even rarer in orange. But the only way you could ever get it is in a convertible is with the pace car option. So it's an awesome detail, especially with how nicely they go with the exterior painted stripes. There are nice factory-style features, like the deluxe door panels, wood-like trim, a center console, and headrest on the front bucket seats. There are also well-integrated upgrades like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner and provisions for Vintage Air air conditioning (it will need to be re-connected and calibrated.) And this is also made to be a better driver with upgrades like a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, a tilt column, and a new dash panel that fits a full set of AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges.

Under the hood is a solid small block package. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is built with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. And they made sure to give this the proper gasket that seals to the cowl hood so that you can feed fresh air to the motor. There are nice supporting components, too, like billet fender supports, an MSD ignition, an MSD alternator, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. This is a confident driver that likes to go for a good classic car cruise. That's why you also have easy driving features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As in 15-inch Rally wheels.

This is the Camaro RS/SS that was made to be driven. So if you're looking for a significant classic that's also a ton of fun on the road, you know you need this '69 pace car. Call now!
