This 1988 Ford F-150 Custom 4x4 really gets it right. It has the right motor, the right off-road investments, the right work-ready attitude, the right comforts, and the right prowess. And it's all being offered right now at the right price.
The long bed gives you more capacity; the lifted 4x4 stance gives you more go-anywhere ability; and the overall tough truck look gives you more stature. In fact, you really have the right details, like wide tow mirrors, a wiring plug for the trailer ball, and full liner paint in the bed. But while those are great features for work or play, this one also just likes being a good-looking classic. The blue paint was updated later in life, and it has a nice metallic sparkle in the sunshine. There are good body lines, a nice chrome front bumper, and upgraded 17-inch Pacer wheels. It's just the right amount of fancy without getting too fancy.
The sea of blue continues inside. Those who still use their trucks for real work will appreciate the simplicity of the classic cloth bench seat, unfussy door panels, and an easy-to-clean vinyl floor. There are nice features like a sliding rear window, upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, and provisions for ... Please ask for the full description.

The sea of blue continues inside. Those who still use their trucks for real work will appreciate the simplicity of the classic cloth bench seat, unfussy door panels, and an easy-to-clean vinyl floor. There are nice features like a sliding rear window, upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) There are even long-haul friendly features like cruise control and dual fuel tanks. The driver's seat is a command position with a grippy steering wheel on a tilt column, and the full gauges include a handy tach.
If you're a truck person, you'll be quite happy to see what's under the hood. Ford's 4.9-liter (300ci) inline-six has one of the robust reputations in the industry. So while the five-digit odometer has likely rolled over at least once, it's far less of a concern on a motor that even diesels look up to. And because this was part of the final evolution for this powerhouse, this is equipped with factory fuel injection. So you have a hardy and consistent powerhouse for this pickup. That gives this long bed truck really has the right feeling like it wants to get to work. Of course, the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, Rough Country lifted stance, and deep treads of the new Mickey Thompson Baja tires are great for everything from the job site to the campsite. Plus, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive make it every day useful, too.
Vintage, robust, and still exceptionally capable - this F-150 4x4 knows how to do it all. So don't miss your chance. Call now!
