Description
This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute is a hardtop with a detailed style and all the upgrades you love. So check out everything from the big block power to the A/C interior, and soon you'll realize this is the sleek red muscle car you've been waiting for.
Chevrolet made something exceptional when it combined the hardtop profile with a fastback rear on these Chevelle coupes. And so it's special to have the final year for one of the most iconic muscle cars of all time. When you have a machine that was built to own the streets, it's nice to have it in red. This is an update later in life, and you have the kind of luster that tells you there was time and money invested in quality. So you have a nice clearcoat shine to highlight the well-done sheet metal. And matching this shine are the form-fitting chrome bumpers, bright chrome mirrors, and well-done body trim. Plus, this coupe really does have all the best of the muscle car era. It's seen in places like the power dome of the cowl hood, blackout SS grille, correct SS badges, and the sporty black SS stripes that are painted on for a smooth appearance. And a new set of Cragar SS wheels with a larger rear set is the perfect recent addition. It gives you the right muscle car stance, and at the same time, it adds to the coupe's shining attitude.
The full black interior not only coordinates with the exterior stripes, but also there's just something extra aggressive about a full blackout package. Plus, with the fresh look on the upholstery, door panels, carpeting, and more, you can tell they really made a solid investment making sure it all looks nice inside. There are good pieces for vintage detail lovers, like the working dome light and spatter paint in the trunk. There are also upgrades that make this a better coupe to share with family and friends. After all, the cup holder center console and cold-blowing R-134a air conditioning give this a true cruiser attitude. But no matter how many people are along for the ride, you'll love grabbing the grippy SS steering wheel, rolling down all the windows on this pillarless hardtop, and prodding the throttle just to listen to the big motor roar.
The 396 cubic-inch V8 fills the engine bay, and so it's great to have it looking so well-done. It's attractive with tidy wires, fresh components, correct decals, bright chrome valve covers, and a grabber with 396 decal. It inhales deeply with a 750 double-pumper four-barrel carburetor. And it exhales with added power and authority as a new set of Hedman ceramic-coated headers feed into the dual exhaust and new Flowmaster mufflers. As you check those out in the undercarriage photos, you'll also spot everything from the clean red body (signaling how comprehensive the investment was in this car) to the proper SS rear suspension with a sway bar and stronger boxed arms. It proves this is the kind of classic you'll want to cruise all-day long. That's why it also features power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes w/discs up front, and a newer set of wide BF Goodrich T/As.
The right look, the right quality, the right power, and the right features all come together to deliver the right Chevelle for you. Call today!!!
