Chevrolet introduced the Chevelle in 1964 and was a huge success. For the 1966 model year the car received a restyling which featured a more streamlined appearance with a larger grille. 1967 saw minor styling changes as well, most notable at the rear of the car, which now featured wraparound tail lamps. This handsome 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible is finished in Jet Black paint and has been upgraded to SS specifications that include a special SS396 hood, black painted grill sections and SS396 badging. These cars are hard to find. Of the 403,963 Chevelles produced for the 1967 model year, only 9,451 were Malibu convertibles, and only 3,307 were SS396 convertibles, making any 1967 Chevelle convertible a highly sought-after collectable. This car rides on a set of polished 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires staggered 225/60R15 front and 245/60R15 rear that blend well with the styling of the car, while giving it a confidant stance.
