You know how much of an icon the Tri-Five Chevys are, but you can already tell there's something extra special about this 1956 Chevrolet Del Ray. It has a super-sleek and fresh style that just tells you it was made for more powerful cruising. And when you look under the hood, the award-worthy presentation of the motor also hides an awesome fuel-injected LS7 motor. Add in four-wheel disc brakes, an upgraded suspension, and an A/C interior, and you can see how this is a thoughtful and complete restomod build.
The two-tone Viper Red and Lake Shimmer Silver color combination is exactly how you want this classic to look. The luster on extra luster is courtesy of a more modern respray, and there's so much detail work that it's the smoothest steel you'll likely ever feel. It sets the tone perfectly for how you want to be seen in this coupe - a great classic that has been enhanced for more “look at me!” attitude that happened back in the day. But more than just nostalgia, make sure you take some time to look at how it gets the fundamentals correct. All the body panels have an excellent fit, the doors close with authority, the glass is clear, and the chrome king bumpers shine like mirrors. ... Please ask for the full description.

It sets the tone perfectly for how you want to be seen in this coupe - a great classic that has been enhanced for more "look at me!" attitude that happened back in the day. But more than just nostalgia, make sure you take some time to look at how it gets the fundamentals correct. All the body panels have an excellent fit, the doors close with authority, the glass is clear, and the chrome king bumpers shine like mirrors. But this cruiser can do so much more than just let you live your American Graffiti fantasies. Those large Billet Specialties alloys are staggered 18/20-inches front/rear for intimidating presence. And the rear is even mini tubbed so that you can get the right low and aggressive stance.
The flame red tweed is a terrific way to present the interior. It continues the sporty style of the exterior while adding comfort. This sleeker feeling continues with details like the upgraded dash trim and custom door panels. You'll even appreciate details like the taut headliner, plush carpeting, smooth dash, and working dome light. And this is a true driver's car with an upgraded tilt steering column, Lokar floor shifter, and full set of Classic Instruments readouts. This has well-integrated upgrades, like how the power windows operate off the classic crank handles. And there was a custom console integrated under the dash so you could add the air conditioning vents and AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input. You also have Cool-It insulation matting and Kicker speakers that make for a better all-around sound experience. But your favorite soundtrack is likely going to be the one that starts under the hood.
We don't have to tell you the motor is special. All that extra time they took to give you a smooth and tidy style in the engine bay lets you know this is showcasing an awesome powerhouse. The fabricated valve covers and velocity stacks make this one look like they installed an old-school street-eating powerhouse. But this shining motor has plenty of secrets. It's actually a more modern LS7 motor with upgraded heads and an Enderle 8 Stack fuel injection system. So you have the classic 454 cubic-inch displacement but in a unique and fresh package. And this is supported by the best pieces, like steel braided lines with AN fittings, a Mallory distributor, billet hood hinges, a Powermaster alternator, and a Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fans. As you look at the undercarriage photos you see how this restomod is clean over every inch. And you'll also spot upgraded suspension components, like the upgraded front A-arms, Gabriel gas shocks, lowering springs, and rear traction bars. There's also a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with a 3500 TCI stall, drilled & slotted Wilwood four-wheel power disc brake package, and rack & pinion power steering.
This is a true one-of-a-kind build that's meant for a true enthusiast. If you can handle all the attention this Chevy commands, hurry up and call now!
