Patina is like a lightning rod for most of us today telling our minds to "get ready for something special!" and this 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air certainly delivers. Because beneath the fashionable worn-in style is fuel-injected V8 power, an overdrive transmission, an A/C interior, and an adjustable air ride suspension.
A patina'd car rolling down the road looks like it has lived an interesting life thus far. It's coming through the white paint, which gives an instantly timeless look. As you dig deeper, you are going to love the overall condition which tells this has been treated with respect. The doors shut solid, the body is straight, and the gaps are even. Of course, there's the brightwork. Wraparound bumpers, symmetrical front end with the headlights boldly out in front, and the airplane-inspired side trim that signaled we were firmly in the jet age - it's all part of a very distinct package today. And while this has a great vintage look, there are noticeable upgrades like tinted windows and large Torq Thrust wheels with an aggressive 18/20-inch front/rear stagger. You can dial in the ideal stance for every cruise-in thanks to the adjustable air ride suspension.

The interior is all about giving you vintage style with the right well-integrated upgrades. You have two rows of wide bench seats that have a classic style and a comfy velour cloth. Plus, the carpeting, headliner, and door panels all coordinate in red to give you an overall feeling of quality. A full-size cruiser like this will make family and friends beg to go for a ride. They stay comfortable with upgrades like the AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth, cup holders, and cold-blowing air conditioning to keep them happy. The air ride controls are even mounted below the dash. You'll love slipping behind the Chevy three-spoke sports steering wheel, and the full round gauge package is crisp and clear.
Chevy was barely into their V8 period when this Bel Air was born, but when you lift the hood, you are going to see what decades of evolution have yielded. It's a 5.7-liter LS1 V8. This fuel-injected powerhouse was installed in the clean engine bay, which is good because there are going to be a lot of eyes on this one. More than just upgraded for serious power, you now have even more flexibility with it thanks to the 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission that's stout enough to handle the V8, and at the same time, deliver you comfortable overdrive highway cruising. Plus the aluminum radiator with an electric fan will help keep the engine cool even when you're sitting in traffic with the A/C pumping. Power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, the grip of modern sport tires, complete this true cruising package.
The patina, the rumble, the stance, the comfort... It's all part of an awesomely thoughtful build. It even comes with the owner's manual. This is the custom classic that's great to show off near or far. So don't miss a great total package. Call now!
