307 V8, 4-SPEED AUTO TRANS, POWER STEER/FRONT DISC, HURST/OLDS, CLEAN INSIDE/OUT

Attention lovers of Olds performance... it's time to take notice. Here's the swan song of the Hurst partnership. This 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds with the cool lightning rod shifter, is one of only 3,500 that were built for the final year. So a loaded T-top coupe like this is rarely so affordable.

The final Hurst/Olds received a special paint theme just for 1984. So we're quite happy to see that they took the time to get the details right during the recent respray. We love the layout that is truly worthy of a power Olds. After all, the sliver with a black lower section is a sophisticated two-tone that has a hint of premium style. But it all turns to aggression as the red stripes help to highlight some nice curves on the otherwise well-creased design. Plus, the hood scoop trim, polished Super Stock wheels, and full-width rear spoiler practically scream “high performance.” It's a design that gets to attract as much attention as a Buick Grand National for a fraction of the price.

Inside, the Hurst/Olds received bucket seats and a proper console, something few other Oldsmobiles of the era can claim. The burgundy cloth strikes a nice balance between premium and aggressive, ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Plus, the hood scoop trim, polished Super Stock wheels, and full-width rear spoiler practically scream "high performance." It's a design that gets to attract as much attention as a Buick Grand National for a fraction of the price.

Inside, the Hurst/Olds received bucket seats and a proper console, something few other Oldsmobiles of the era can claim. The burgundy cloth strikes a nice balance between premium and aggressive, especially when it has been this well preserved. So while it's unknown if the odometer represents the full mileage, this one absolutely has the look of proper respect. At the center of it all is the special three-lever Hurst Lightning Rod shifter setup that gives full manual control of the automatic transmission underneath. It's this special structure that also makes the factory upgrade to a full round gauge pack so helpful. After all, the tach will be extra useful in this Hurst/Olds. As a true premium coupe, it came loaded with a power driver's seat, power windows, power locks, electric rear defrost, cruise control, and tilt wheel. And to make sure you can cruise with the best tunes, the radio has been upgraded to an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth. There are provisions for air conditioning, and it will need servicing to blow cold again. But the best breezes really come from taking the T-tops out and hitting the road.

Oldsmobile utilized their rugged and torque-filled 307 cubic inch V8 for Hurst duty. Fortified with a four-barrel carburetor and rumbling dual exhaust, it provides the kind of old-school muscle that few others offered in the '80s. Just like the rest of the car, the whole engine bay has a very stock and well-respected/preserved/invested style. You saw the triple-stalk Hurst shifter in the interior, and on the road, it allows you to get the most out of the motor. Plus, on days when you want to take it easy, just simply let the four-speed automatic with overdrive shift itself. In fact, this one has other great features for all-around good driving such as power steering, power brakes with discs up front, sway bars front & rear, and wide Cooper Cobra tires.

This is the final year for the legend. So don't let something this iconic, complete, and affordable slip away. Call today!!!
