Owner's Manual |
This 1973 Plymouth Cuda has upgraded V8 power, nice suspension additions, and a bold green and black style that's seen inside and out. It makes for that kind of powerful classic that has the right upgrades to make it even more fun to enjoy.
This was the last full production year for the 'Cuda, and Mopar always had the lowest production figures of The Big Three. It makes for the kind of rarity where owning one from this era is a bit like entrance into an exclusive club. And just to make sure this stands out even more for the few others you'll find, this one is finished in one of Chrysler's famous High Impact colors. The Sublime Green is a bright and modern done later in life. The result carries a great glow-in-the-dark vibrancy that also keeps a driver-friendly appearance. As bold as this is, you still pick up on this E-body's aggressive design details, like the hood scoops and the red grille accents. In the rear, the black accent stripe, rear panel, and spoiler also add an extra touch of that great aggressive feeling. And the wheels being upgraded to larger 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust units to allow for better tires. All of this makes for a coupe with an original pedigree, ... All of this makes for a coupe with an original pedigree, but with the right look and features so that you want to take it out on the road.
You're going to love leaving the windows rolled down on this hardtop just so people can get a good look inside. The upholstery was upgraded within the last couple of years so that the classic Mopar layout now features bold green inserts and matching contrast stitching. The carpeting and headliner also have the right fresh feeling for a quality environment. We love these 'Cudas because they give you the right driver-oriented style, and this one really maximizes it. For example, you have the classic center console that's formed around you, and now it has been upgraded with an iconic pistol grip shift handle. The three-speed automatic transmission still has the Slap Stick feature. The steering wheel is a newer and grippy sports unit. The factory gauge package is supplemented by well-placed auxiliary readouts to keep you better informed.
Under the hood is a cool upgrade. Mopar's 360 cubic-inch V8 was a late edition for these final 'Cudas, and so it's nice to have that displacement under the hood. But while this respects its history in size, the powerhouse it's really a younger crate motor. It's a fully built setup with Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake, Davis Unified Ignition (DUI) electronic ignition, and an aluminum radiator. All of this presents extremely well in the engine bay with the dark Mopar performance air cleaner and valve covers standing out against the clean green inner fenders. You better believe this one makes a growl with the power-adding long-tube headers that connect to the dual exhaust. This coupe likes to let you feel the road, and it does it with confidence. That's why you have upgrades like drilled & slotted power front disc brakes, a rear sway bar, and grippy modern performance tires.
Complete with owner's manual, this speedy Plymouth means you're a member of a rare Mopar club, and considering the exclusivity and performance you receive, the dues seem quite reasonable. Call now!
