DUAL PORT 1600CC STROKED MOTOR, 4-SPEED MANUAL, POLISHED EXHAUST, VOLKSROD!!!

This custom is about starting with a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle and applying some cool old-school custom hot rod practices to create a unique and fun Volksrod. And because a street machine like this is all about power, don't forget to take some time to check out all that extra hardware in the rear.

The recipe starts with the lovable Beetle, but then it adds in some serious attitude. It begins with chopping inches out of the roof for a wind-swept style. The sleekness continues with removing the fenders and smoothing the inner panels. Move up the front suspension and give it the stance of a street machine (don't you just love those classic Firestone dragster cheater slicks?) And the paint has that right look of a metallic shine that is never too fancy for the streets. Now add in plenty of cool touches like the tri-bar headlights with integrated signals, smoothie hub covers, and plenty of pinstriping. Now you're looking at a '32 Ford rat rod that speaks with a German accent.

Shaved door handles and deleted side windows mean you reach in to open the doors, which is another classic hot rod touch. There are nice comfort upgrades like the full carpeting and two-tone leather seats with ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

There are nice comfort upgrades like the full carpeting and two-tone leather seats with well-bolstered buckets up front. There's even an AM/FM touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth and a powered subwoofer for an impressive sound system. But no one is going to accuse this mean machine of going soft. The nicely worn-in wood-rimmed steering wheel and EMPI shifter are made for real drivers.

Just like a classic hot rod, the engine bay is ready to be on full display. It showcases the distinct red engine cover, polished components, a tidy style, and even the fan shroud is fully matched to the exterior - including the pinstripes. This is a younger Autolinea dual-port 1600cc motor, and it's believed to be stroked to a large 2200cc. Plus, there's an EMPI pulley kit, Flamethrower ignition, and a dual set of EMPI two-barrel carbs. And the polished exhaust header is a terrific-looking way to add power and growl. And you get proper control over all this added power with the four-speed manual transmission. The extended front suspension means hot rod style hairpins and bright Aldan adjustable coilovers on display. And this meaner VW even has four-wheel disc brakes.

You're likely never going to find another custom Volksrod out there guaranteed to grab as much attention or put as big a smile on your face for this low of a price. So don't miss this custom. Call today!!!
