This 1982 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler is a rugged and fresh build of a cool off-road machine. And as you dig deeper, you're going to see extra versatility everywhere from the new V8 power to the four-wheel disc brakes. And so you'll realize all the big investments were about both off-road presence and overall usability.
The Ceramic Gray paint is a modern Mopar color that looks awesome. This was a recent $7,500 investment that gives you the color of granite but the polish of an award-worthy classic. So it seems perfect for the kind of stunning Jeep that hasn't even gone 10 miles since completing its frame-off restoration. We also like this paint because it harmonizes nicely with all the beefy black details. You really see pieces like the fender flares, rock sliders, rear storage rack, and 15-inch Mickey Thompson wheels. And those restored Runk bumpers are a practically rugged touch.
The new Bestop black soft top looks great when it's in place because it coordinates nicely with the other exterior black pieces. But we bet you'll really love taking it down to show off the interior. This is an awesome setup where the front buckets have a fresh look and plenty of bolstering. These are soft yet ... Please ask for the full description.

These are soft yet durable Corbeau units, and the rear was upgraded to match. This Scrambler utilizes its long wheelbase to give you an SUV that also has plenty of cargo space. It makes for a useful style, and that feeling is also felt with the color-matched liner paint, high-lift jack, rugged floor mats, full side doors, and lockbox center console that also houses the AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth.
With such a rugged look on the outside, you really want this kind of muscle to back it up. So under the hood is an upgrade to a 350 cubic-inch Chevy crate motor. The V8 has a clean look that reminds you this is a fresh build. In fact, we're told this engine only had 3k miles on it before it was resealed and installed in this custom Jeep. It has a full Edelbrock suite with the four-barrel carburetor, intake, black valve covers, and matching air grabber. Plus, headers add power and rumble while feeding the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. You'll also notice other desirable details like an aluminum radiator, a separate oil cooler, and a $1,200 Painless wiring harness. As you look underneath, you'll see how fresh everything is, right down to the bushings. You'll also spot nice upgrades like a four-inch lift, Rubicon Express shocks, and Cooper Discoverer tires. These go with the twin-stick two-speed 4x4 transfer case to deliver a capable off-road ability. But there's more to this build. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is a newly rebuilt unit that provides overdrive comfort. And power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes are great for on or off the pavement.
Complete with build receipts, this custom CJ8 has an awesome powerful look that also doesn't skip out on the right comforts. So it's a great restomod that you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
