An awesome stance, big V8 power, and the right upgrades both for flair and getting the job done - that's what you get with this 1974 Ford F-250 Highboy 4x4.
This vintage hauler offers just the right combination of functionality and flash. The factory Midnight Blue Metallic had a respray later in life to retain a good gloss and shine. It has a deep tone that's worthy of a tall and beefy pickup, and the modern shine accentuates the truck's square-jawed lines. Plus, the upgraded steel front bumper is attractively rugged with the brush guard, KC lights, and winch. The body has received attention along the way (it's a 1977 cab on a 1974 chassis,) and it has that ideal look of a well-respected pickup with straight and clean lines, but it also has a look where no one will mistake it for a trailer queen. In fact, this is the one to tow the other toys. After all, you have a proper trailer hitch with a wiring plug and large tow mirrors. Plus, the 8-foot bed with liner paint, HD rear bumper, and tall 4x4 stance on this extra-duty F-250 already have you thinking about all the ways this classic can also help you tackle projects.

The interior is rugged, vintage, and functional. It has useful features like a rugged rubber floor, updated seat cover, and sliding rear window. The steering wheel has a nice wood grip, and the added tach goes well with the floor shift. This was even an air-conditioned truck, although you will need more components to restore the function. And you also have nice upgrades like LED lighting, cup holders, and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with Bluetooth.
Whether you want this for work or play (or both), you'll love the extra power this one puts down. The motor is Ford's strong 390 cubic-inch V8. It inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and intake. It exhales with a sweet rumble out of the glasspack dual exhaust. And the four-speed manual transmission means you have complete control over it all - including a granny first gear that gives you a ton of low-end torque. It earns its Highboy nickname for the tall 4x4 stance that came directly from the factory on these extra-tough F-250s. Plus, there are military-style Goodyear Wranglers tires with deep treads at all four corners. Also, power steering and power brakes are features that are always welcomed no matter if you are on the street or trail.
This is the classic 4x4 that's like your best friend who's ready and able for whatever adventure you want to go on today. It's a great total package that you know you don't want to let slip away. Call today!!!
