F/I 347CI V8, 5SPD TRANS, A/C, PWR STEER/BRAKE, VERY NICE COLOR COMBO, SHARP CAR

Not only does this 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible have an awesome paint package inside and out, but it's a full restomod build with a fuel-injected stroker V8, a five-speed to control it, four-wheel disc brakes, upgraded suspension, and a loaded A/C interior. It all makes for one impressive pony that was completed only 1,600 miles ago.

This car is coming off of nearly a quarter-century of long-term ownership. And about a dozen years ago it was decided to turn this drop-top into an awesome restomod. Since there's less than 1,600 miles on the odometer, you know the years were all about cherishing a build that was done with quality. For example, the red paint has the kind of shine that can still make far newer applications jealous. The sunlight loves to roll evenly across this glossy finish, and that makes for an awesome drop-top. Nice body panels and bright chrome bumpers take care of the classic fundamentals. But what catches your eye is all the added sporty style. The front has a mean first impression with the clear tri-bar headlights and the power bulge of the custom cowl hood. Plus, you have Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog wheels staggered with an aggressive 18/18 inches ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Plus, you have Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog wheels staggered with an aggressive 18/18 inches front/rear.

The gunmetal gray convertible top is a very distinct piece that looks stylish against the red exterior. And if you like the way this looks, then you'll love taking it down to reveal a full red and gray two-tone interior. This is an awesome-looking leather setup that really fits with the car's detailed care. That's why you'll even appreciate the little things, like the chrome door handles and color-match convertible boot. A restomod is great at offering added comfort, and so you have additions like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth and cold-blowing air conditioning. Plus, power windows and a power convertible top let you open this one up to the world without leaving your seat. And that driver's seat is a terrific place to be. You have the upgraded contoured bucket borrowed from a Fox-body Mustang. There's also an armrest center console, sports steering wheel on a tilt column, power steering, and a full set of AutoMeter Phantom gauges with large speedo and tach.

You might want to grab your sunglasses before popping the hood. The clean black inner walls of the engine bay make all those polished components really pop. This is a 347 cubic-inch stroker motor topped with FiTech fuel injection. While that's an awesome setup for most of us, it's just the base of this performance package. It goes further with an Edelbrock intake, a Concept One chrome pulley system, steel braided lines, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The Hooker headers add extra power while they also let this one fire up with a terrific growl. But more than just listen to these beastly pipes, take a look at the undercarriage shots. There you'll see Maier Racing suspension components, subframe connectors, a Currie 9-inch rear, and four-wheel power disc brakes. And the T5 five-speed manual transmission keeps you in complete control, so you can go from easy cruising to a backroad burner in just a quick downshift.

Complete with build receipts and service manuals, you can see how this is the total quality package for someone who loves to drive a classic and show it off, too. Since that's most of us, you need to hurry to grab this all-around terrific pony. Call now!
