BELIEVED 23,929 ACT'L MILES, TRUE SS, #'S MATCHNG 427 V8 & TH400 3SPD AUTO, WOW!

The 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 427 is the kind of coupe we are all on the lookout to find. It's a factory big block machine with the numbers-matching powerhouse under the hood. And it's stock everywhere from the factory paint to the nearly impossibly low mileage. It makes for a preserved muscle car legend that's a true rarity wherever it goes.

It is believed that the odometer represents the car's actual mileage, and so this coupe has averaged less than 450 miles annually. For us that would mean driving from Charlotte to Bristol Motor Speedway once a year...and nothing else! And racing is the key to this car's unique past. We have a ton of original paperwork, and the story we're told is that this coupe was purchased new by Mr. Eirk to use the big block as the tow vehicle for his Corvette race car. So we suspect there was a lot of time just pulling Sunday duties. More than just a great story, you'll love this one for its level of preservation. The Nantucket Blue paint is believed to be the original finish applied by the St. Louis factory over a half-century ago. There are some touch-ups and marks from over the years, but it seems more like the kind of pieces that come from spending so ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

There are some touch-ups and marks from over the years, but it seems more like the kind of pieces that come from spending so much time in the garage. And that's why this is an impressive survivor. It has a well-kept appearance, right down to the premium black vinyl roof. Today we know to covet the '67 Impala, because they introduced some of the curviest fenders of the era, and that just seems to go perfectly with the Sport Coupe's fastback profile. And this is also a real-deal Super Sport that impresses with the vent trim hood, SS callouts, Rally wheels, and redline tires. It makes for a true muscle car that's also a truly rare find.

The time capsule preservation continues on an interior that's equal parts luxury and sporting. For example, you have individual bucket seats up front, but they are plush with a button-top presentation. The center console, floor shifter, three-spoke steering wheel, and full gauges w/tach all add to the sporty attitude. The radio is a great classic touch with a factory AM unit with a separate 8-track. But now there's also a CD changer hidden in the trunk to give you true cruising music. There's plenty of room in this full-size coupe, but even when going solo, this Impala is still a great ride. After all, the power windows mean never having to leave the driver's seat to show off the pillarless hardtop profile.

Under the hood is a clean and correct engine bay. Even the hood light works! You'll love that the fresh orange block and polished valve covers seem to radiate from within the dark inner walls because it draws plenty of attention to the numbers-matching 427 cubic-inch V8. Good maintenance means this fires up readily. The proper Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor inhales deeply, and the newer dual exhaust gives this a sweet tune of a proper classic cruiser. In fact, while the mileage is low we bet you can't resist adding to the odometer thanks to easy driving features, like the three-speed automatic transmission, Positraction rear end, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front.

The sale comes with a terrific paperwork file to tell this coupe's unique tale. It includes the original window sticker, purchase agreement, Protect-O-Plate warranty card, cam card, and maintenance records. This is a classic that delivers on originality, features, and style, so you know it's the rare survivor that goes right to the top of your list. Call now!
