AIR-COOLED 1600CC FLAT-4, 4SPD MANUAL TRANS, RUNS/DRIVES WELL, NICE PAINT, CLEAN

There's something great about a unique Beetle. It's the recipe of taking German precision, adding an affordable parts network, and topping this one off with custom touches to make people turn heads. That's why we love an affordable classic like this 1968 Volkswagen Beetle.

We all love the iconic streamlined Beetle shape, but you can instantly tell this one was given extra attitude during restoration. The paint was upgraded to an orange and white two-tone, and it has the kind of sweet high-gloss shine to give this all the appeal of an orange creamsicle. There are some great classic details, like the bumpers with override bows, yellow fog lights, rear fog light, and there's even a roof rack that comes with the sale. It's joined by attractive modern touches, like the shining 15-inch EMPI alloys. And there was about $5k invested within the last few years getting the stance and suspension just right. There are even good fundamentals like the weather-stripping, taillights, and good running board rubber. So it makes for the kind of custom that's ideal for driving.

While the Beetle is known for being simple to fix and maintain, it's also a treat to see that someone made a quality ... Please ask for the full description.

While the Beetle is known for being simple to fix and maintain, it's also a treat to see that someone made a quality investment in restoring the interior. The seats are stylish tan and cream two-tone. The door panels and headliner also coordinate for a uniform style. Upgrades like the EMPI wood-rimmed steering wheel and a Black Mamba sport shifter make this a better driver. And you get a better all-around cruiser thanks to an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth, and an upgraded speaker system featuring Kicker speakers and an adjustable subwoofer.

The motor has a tidy setup to make sure that all areas of this Beetle are worth showing off. This 1600cc flat-four was the largest displacement from the original VW series, and this one fires up and runs with the kind of quality that tells you it has been under proper care. The crisp shifts of the four-speed manual transmission put the power properly under your control. Plus, the upgraded sport tires and front disc brakes add extra nimbleness to an already sharp-driving package.

This is the classic Beetle that has been given the right upgrades to be a stand-out all-around cruiser. So at a price like this, you know you don't want to let it slip away. Call now!
