This 1966 Ford Mustang GT has an enhanced fuel-injected V8, upgraded suspension, and a terrific sporty style. And you get to enjoy it all to the fullest because you cruise in style and comfort with an updated A/C interior.
Bright chrome bumpers, good white paint, and nice body lines make for a good classic, but that's not the heart of this Mustang's appeal. The fog lights, rocker stripes, badging, and dual exhaust through the rear valance are all great GT pieces. And even the little details are correct for a GT. So it's hard to believe this A-code Mustang is anything but a real-deal GT. While that makes it both speedy and valuable, it's just the beginning of the performance style on this custom coupe. There are great Shelby-inspired pieces like the hood scoop, side scoops, and GT350R front valance. The black stripe package is done exceptionally well. It's a painted piece that starts below the front bumper, runs all the way over the car (including the roof,) and it doesn't stop until under the license plate. It has such a race-ready look and overall finish that the competition-style Torq Thrust wheels look absolutely earned on this coupe.

It has such a race-ready look and overall finish that the competition-style Torq Thrust wheels look absolutely earned on this coupe.
Back stripes were a good choice for the outside because it gives you a preview of the full black interior. There's a nice and dark style on the upholstery, carpeting, door panels, headliner, dash, and all other fundamentals for a quality appearance. And because this is such a sporty pony car, you'll appreciate details, like the Rally Pac with working tach and clock. But this upgraded car also wants to be your comfortable cruiser. That's why you have upgrades like the retro-style radio with Bluetooth, upgraded speakers, and an armrest center console with cup holders. And the classic-style air conditioning unit is blowing cold air with modern R134a refrigerant.
The engine bay has a clean and mean style. In fact, we have a recent receipt for over $7k documenting a comprehensive engine upgrade. So you still have a proper 289 cubic-inch V8 in this A-code coupe, but it has been enhanced and fortified. This now includes Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 11R aluminum heads, custom pushrods, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection. It even has good supporting components like an MSD distributor, new wires, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. The motor fires up eagerly as the long tube headers feed the H-pipe dual exhaust. There's a solid feeling out on the road thanks to upgrades like the comprehensive engine bay bracing, rear traction bars, and thick sway bars front & rear. Plus, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As make for easy any time enjoyment.
Complete with build receipts, this is the ultra-desirable GT that has been upgraded for style and substance. It all makes for the kind of car that's fun to drive and gets noticed everywhere you take it. So don't miss this distinctive performance pony, call today!
