The 1970 Pontiac GTO convertible is a rare treat, especially in blue. So when you have drop-top appeal and extra power from the 400 V8, you know this total package is an irresistible classic.
Atoll Blue is a great 1970-correct color to have on this GTO. It has a good luster from a quality later application in life to show off the body creases, and the metallic element looks great radiating in the sunshine (exactly where a convertible should be.) It's a straight and clean classic with just the right upgrades. For example, the black soft top looks newer and has a glass rear window. Pontiacs of this era have something special about them. The upgrade to the GTO's Endura front end is a look that's both stylish and sporty, and the rear bumper is bright chrome that hugs the form. Plus, you have great sporty details, like the dual hood scoops, blackout grilles, and quad exhaust tips. And those American Racing wheels have a bright shine and fit modern 17-inch wheels (the stock wheels and tires can come with the sale, too, if desired.)
The black roof powers down to show off an equally attractive black interior. The dark tone of the interior and exterior give this come together to give this ... Please ask for the full description.

The dark tone of the interior and exterior give this come together to give this GTO a nice hint of added sophistication. There's some sock-style originality, but there are also good fundamentals like the dash pad, carpeting, and door panels. There are even nice details inside like the premium wood-like trim and working courtesy lights. And while the factory AM radio is in place, there's an AM/FM/cassette stereo neatly added under the dash (so it makes it even easier to upgrade to the modern radios.) What you'll like the best is the driver-oriented setup with front bucket seats, clear gauges, and center console with shifter.
Under the hood is the mighty Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8. This is a year-correct block, and it has the bright valve covers and turquoise block to look quite stock. But dig a little deeper and you'll see it inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. And shorty headers let it exhale with added power and rumble into the dual exhaust. This is a strong running motor that's meant to be easy to enjoy. That's why there's the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern ZR-rated sport tires.
The sale comes complete with Pontiac Historic Services (PHS) documentation. This GTO drop-top has the style, power, and details that make it an awesome total package. So if you want a head-turning cruiser, call today!
