351 V8, 3SPD AUTO, PWR STEER/BRAKES, DRIVES WELL, AFFORDABLE CONVERT, GR8 VALUE!

The 1973 Ford Mustang is a pretty significant car. It's the last year for the first generation, and a convertible like this would be the last time for a drop-top pony car for a whole decade. So to find a loaded one so well preserved, with many parts believed to be original, delivers a proper showing of this noteworthy classic.

The factory-correct Medium Copper Metallic paint shows all the right signs of being original to the car. This one strikes a good balance where it shows its age so that you can tell this car's tale of significance and survival. Yet, it still has a nice glow in the sunlight, which is ideal for a sunshine-friendly convertible. This copper paint also harmonizes nicely with the full silver stripe package, and the full precious metal look seems like a fitting way to close the book on the first-generation pony car. And while this one has a sharp-looking survivor style, you can see one distinct replacement piece. The black convertible top is a newer addition, because after all, some pieces just can't last nearly a half-century no matter how well you treat the car.

As much as we like the look of this one with the roof up, with the flip of a switch, it powers down to ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

As much as we like the look of this one with the roof up, with the flip of a switch, it powers down to reveal an attractive ginger interior. After all, this is the kind of color-combo that instantly signals the 1970s. This is the factory-correct color, but you can also tell the right investments were made to keep it looking vintage but feeling far fresher with the proper replacements. And because this one also has a premium feel, classic car fans will love the look of the thick weave coco mats. This came loaded from the factory with some of the best features around. It includes a comfortable center console, a tilt steering column, and air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) And because this has both a power top and power side windows, you never have to leave the driver's seat if you want to open this one up to the world.

Under the hood is a very honest and correct-style presentation. The consignor believes this is the original motor, and it even has the factory decals still in place. A convertible like this was built to be a true cruiser. That's why you also have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front. While this looks quite original from the top, the undercarriage photos reveal a newer dual exhaust. It's another one of those pieces you don't mind replaced on a largely preserved classic, because it enhances the overall driving experience.

The sale comes complete with Marti Report, so you can review all the best features this classic was born with. This is the well preserved car with the right touches to keep it a worthwhile cruiser. So if you want a significant pony car done right, don't let this one slip away. Call now!
