GREAT RUNNING 328 V8, AUTO TRANS, PWR STEER/4-WHEEL DISC, DUAL EXHAUST, DROP TOP

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is an exceptional all-around build. It has an upgraded small block with fuel injection. A custom front subframe that makes it a sharp handler. And there's plenty of upgraded comfort with the modern leather seats, overdrive transmission, cold-blowing A/C, and more. And it's all wrapped in a thoughtful and sleek black and white total package.

The consignor of this car took three years to restore this drop-top, and the proof of care is in the details. The white paint has a metallic pearlescent that loves to radiate in the sunlight, and that's perfect for a sunshine-friendly convertible. And the D90 SS-style tripe was painted on the front. It not only means you get lasting quality, but also the opportunity to embed a metallic element for added radiance. This kicks off a well-coordinated black package with the grille, chin spoiler, and a well-fitting black convertible top. This goes for a cleaner style with details like deleted badging, standard flush hood, and a '67 RS taillights but a smooth lower panel. It allows your eye to focus on details like this high polish on the bumpers and the equally bright polished alloys. And those wheels are also ... Please ask for the full description.

And those wheels are also staggered at 17/18 inch front/rear so that you can fit modern tires while also getting a classily intimidating stance.

The black roof goes so well with the car's color theme that you'll be happy to see a full black interior when you take the top down. In fact, take a closer look at this custom setup. The TMI seats are done with white contrast stitching and white backgrounds within the accent rivets. The side panels are even done to match. So you have the kind of fresh and well-coordinated black and white style you find on award-winning builds. More than just look terrific, this one was made to be a true comfortable driver. That's why those custom seats have plenty of bolstering and are finished in supple leather. This one has the best well-integrated upgrades. The classic steering wheel is on a tilt column, the retro-style radio is really a modern AM/FM digital tuner, and the stock-style climate control sliders are your gateway to a modern R134 air conditioning system. There's even an upgraded tach discreetly installed on the center console in front of the horseshoe shifter. It all makes for a car that tells you it was made to be driven.

The engine bay has a true award-worthy style with smooth inner fenders, billet hood hinges, smooth mirrored radiator cover, and an ultra-tidy V8 at the center. And you can really see the details of the motor thanks to the smooth mirrored firewall. But while this one is stunning, it also respects its history. The 327 cubic-inch V8 was one of the most popular motors for a '68, so it's great to have that displacement under the hood. But this powerplant is a true powerhouse with an upgraded intake, long tube headers, and we're even told it was bored .30 over (no current receipts on this.) And it's topped with a FAST electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and consistency. This is also built with the best supporting components, like a serpentine belt system, an MSD ignition, FAST fuel regulator, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. You're going to want to put a mirror underneath this one at the car shows just so you can feature the string custom front subframe that features Flaming River components and AlterKtion suspension arms. Of course, this awesome-looking setup also makes this a great handler. And this all-around solid driver nature is backed up by more upgrades like a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, power brakes, and Wilwood four-wheel discs with drilled & slotted rotors.

This is the thoughtful custom build that you'll be proud to show off. But if you're thinking about showcasing this custom Camaro tomorrow, you need to call today!
