The 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute has big block power, four-on-the-floor, and a bold style. Oh yeah, you're going to find a lot to love in this true muscle machine.
There is a lot to love in a Chevelle coupe. The form-hugging bumpers, pillar-less hardtop profile, and fastback design secured its status as an icon. Plus, this is a big power machine, and it has all your favorite classic SS pieces boldly done like hood pins, cowl hood, and SS badges. And we like the way the black racing stripes go with the blackout grille. Of course, the boldest way this Super Sport tribute announces it's a daring machine is by giving you a very bright shade of yellow. It has a radiant style that seems like it will glow in the dark. And don't be afraid to take it out for some midnight cruising because a driver-quality presentation means this hardtop is easy to take out on a whim.
The black stripes of the outside are a preview of the full black interior. Clean upholstery and plenty of room make it easy to share with family and friends. The black stripes of the outside are a preview of the full black interior. Clean upholstery and plenty of room make it easy to share with family and friends. This was even born a factory A/C car (the components besides the controls have been removed for the sake of better power.) But it doesn't take much to see that the focus of this one is really on the driver. You have high-back bucket seats up front, and there's an upgraded armrest center console with cup holders in between. The bright shifter is just calling out for your right hand, and your left one will love the grip of the three-spoke sports steering wheel. There is also Sport-Comp tach on the steering column and cleanly installed auxiliary gauges under the dash to keep an eye on what's going on under the hood.
The engine bay is filled with proper big block power. This is believed to be a 402 cubic-inch V8, which is the correct displacement for this era. The motor has been upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, cast valve covers, and a full dual exhaust. There's even a newer aluminum radiator to help keep the full package running cool. The Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission means you have complete control over the motor, and it feeds into a stout 12-bolt rear end. And because this wants to be a proper cruising classic, you also get power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
This is the icon you love with plenty of nice upgrades already added in. And the price leaves room in your budget to even more personal touches on this big block hardtop legend. Call today!!!
