312 V8, 3SPD AUTO, PWR STEER/BRAKES, GR8 COLOR COMBO, 2 TOPS, CLEAN INSIDE/OUT!!

This 1957 Ford Thunderbird has a terrific presentation of its awesome original color combo. So no matter if you are a fan of tailfins or porthole hardtops, you'll see a level of detail over every inch of this T-Bird that will send your nostalgia into overdrive.

This classic has seen the right care, investment, and preservation over the years. That means the factory-correct Raven Black has the kind of deep gloss you'd want on a grand piano. And the body panels fit together with care so that the luster lets the sunshine roll evenly across the body. This shine also highlights all the best details - everything from the hood scoop up front to the long tailfins that start in the doors. Of course, when you want to talk about shine, the mirror-like brightwork is always what you love. The '57 cars had some of the sleekest chrome around with the clean mesh grille, smooth flowing front bumper, trim framing the fender skirts, and an expertly crafted rear bumper that also housed the dual exhaust. The color-matched porthole hardtop is iconic, but the folding soft top is also quite stylish on this one, too. It's done in white to contrast the body and complement the whitewall tires.

Description

While both roof options are chic, the best way to go in this Thunderbird is with no top at all. That's because the factory-correct Flame Red interior is the perfect addition of color - sort of like a red rose on the lapel of this black tuxedo. The seat, carpeting, door panels, and dash have a quality feel that get the fundamentals right. When you sit down, the thin/grippy steering wheel, floor shift, and machine-turned panel flowing across the dash give you a great vintage sporty feeling. And because they paid attention to details, even the little things are working, like the clock, courtesy light, and town & country AM radio.

The larger D-code "Thunderbird Special" 312 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor was a nice option in '57. This one was ordered with the larger motor, and it's still believed to carry that displacement today. Plus, it looks thoroughly correct with the bright red block, pie dish air topper w/factory decal, and iconic Thunderbird logo valve covers from the factory dress-up kit. It's a true personal luxury vehicle, so the torque of the V8 is well paired with the Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes for an easy cruiser.

This is a fantastic total package for lovers of vintage style. So if you want a true stunner, don't miss this detail-oriented T-Bird. Call now!
