VORTEC 350 V8, 4-SPEED AUTO TRANS W/ OD, POWER STEER/FRONT DISC, DUAL EXHAUST!!

This 1939 Pontiac Deluxe Restomod is a cool custom total package. It takes the trunkback style and adds a sleeker style, a custom interior, and an overdrive transmission. It's such a unique build that it takes a more modern small block V8 and puts a classic tri-power setup on top!

A car like this comes with a great story. We're told the consignor bought it around 2014, and at the time the car had been in the same family for all its life. After 75 years it was ready for a major upgrade, and so it was given a full restoration/transformation. The body was solid, but you know it was never looking this before the work was started. In fact, they applied a formula of black used for modern Mercedes-Benzes, and then put five coats of clear on top. And since there's only about 10k miles on the build, it still shines with distinction. Clear headlights, blacked-out tail lights, deleted bumpers, and bright exhaust tips announce this is something special. And of course, it's awesome to have the motor on display. But all the best Pontiac pieces are still there. The waterfall grille in the fenders, iconic Pontiac Chief hubcaps, and whitewall tires make sure this trunkback sedan always has a ... Description

The waterfall grille in the fenders, iconic Pontiac Chief hubcaps, and whitewall tires make sure this trunkback sedan always has a proper cruiser style.

The interior is a well-done mix of vintage and new. For example, the low-back bucket seats have a great classic style while also offering comfortable modern bolstering. They are done in marine-grade vinyl for the best in comfort and durability. A cup holder center console, tinted windows, and an AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth give you the best modern amenities. And you have a proper driver's setup with a banjo-style steering wheel on a tilt column, a tall Lokar shifter, and Dolphin gauges.

The engine was in the car when the consignor purchased it. It was retained for two reasons. First, it's always great to carry part of the past sport in a restomod build. Plus, this is a more modern 350 cubic-inch Vortec V8, and so it was a great base to start a solid investment. This includes adding an Edelbrock intake that can hold a triple set of Stromberg-style dual-barrel carbs. This also has heat-wrapped headers, an MSD distributor, and custom valve covers to make this a terrific combination of show and go. As you look underneath, you'll sport more great upgrades, like Mosier axles, a 12-bolt diff, and a custom-built rear end with coilovers. Add in the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, and power brakes with front discs, and you can see how this makes for a solid cruiser.

This is a cool restomod with a great history. So it's time for you to write your own chapter. Call today!!!
