This 1965 Ford Mustang has a more aggressive appearance on the outside, and there's a proper V8 and four-on-the-floor to back it all up. It all makes for a distinctive icon offered at an irresistible price.
A red Mustang usually has an all-American attitude, but you can instantly tell this is also the bad boy. The bright paint instantly draws attention to custom elements, like the bright dual exhaust tips and massive power bulge of the cowl hood. And you not only have an upgraded set of torque thrust style wheels, but there's also an extra meaty set of rear tires to give this a nice forward-leaning stance. This is not meant to be a show car, and so that kind of crowd can find some areas for improvements. That's because the heart of the appeal on this one is that you still get all the classic pony car elements you love, but this is also instantly understood as a car that loves a good blacktop battle.
The interior gives you more of the cool/classic elements you want in a first-year Mustang. In fact, we particularly like how the newer upholstery shows off the classic low-back bucket seat setup. The interior gives you more of the cool/classic elements you want in a first-year Mustang. In fact, we particularly like how the newer upholstery shows off the classic low-back bucket seat setup. That bright red really stands out against the rest of the black interior. A good headliner, plush carpeting, and a smooth dash pad completes a look of good quality. There are also nice more modern upgrades like the AM/FM/cassette stereo and cup holders. And we just know your right hand will be instantly attracted to the Hurst floor shifter.
This is a C-code coupe, and so it's great to see a proper 289 cubic inch V8 under the hood. It even has a good look with an updated blue block, matching Powered by Ford valve covers, and a bright air grabber. These small blocks love upgrades, and so this has a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Holley Street Dominator intake. That gives some added pep to the V8, and you're in firm control with the four-speed manual transmission.
This first-year Mustang has a more aggressive style and a healthy V8 heart to earn a speedy style. So at a price like this, you know this is a coupe you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
