This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS tribute hits all the right high notes with a hidden headlight front end, enhanced small block power, a well-done color combo, and the unmistakable appeal of a drop-top icon.
Red always looks terrific on a Camaro, and the trim tag tells us this is a factory Matador Red car. So you get the pride of correctness but the good gloss of a quality respray later in life. And as a true red-blooded classic American, it has good-looking brightwork on the chrome bumpers, clean window trim, and sporty Rally wheels. But what you might like best about this one is how there's a nicely coordinated black. It starts with the upgrade to the Rally Sport's hidden headlight front end. There's also the D91 bumblebee stripe and deep chin spoiler. Plus, the black folding roof has a clean and crisp look that basically makes this look like a two-tone red and black car. There are even the right Super Sport details, like the velocity stack hood trim, correct badging, and D80 rear spoiler. It makes for the kind of convertible that knows how to get attention.

When you take the top down, it reveals the factory-correct black interior. So this offers a well-coordinated color combo with the roof on or off. The carpeting, dash, seats, and door panels all look good. There are some nice upgrades already installed, like an engine temp gauge and an upgraded speaker subwoofer system (you may need to upgrade the stereo.) And the real appeal here is that you have a drop-top classic that was built to be a driver's machine. That means front bucket seats, a center console in-between, the iconic horseshoe shifter, and an upgraded sports steering wheel.
Powering this Camaro is a 350 cubic-inch V8. It looks quite nice with the bold orange block, shining valve covers, matching air grabber, and an overall tidy style. The V8 has been enhanced for power with Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Mallory ignition, MSD coil, and long tube headers feeding into a Flowmaster dual exhaust. It's then paired with a stout TH400 three-speed transmission to handle power while also delivering smooth automatic shifting. Add in power steering, power brakes, front discs, discs up front, and a good set of BF Goodrich radial tires and you've got an all-around solid classic driver.
This Camaro has the style and the power you love. So if you're looking to drive an icon, call today!!!
