SLICK MONTE SS TRIBUTE, 454 BIG BLOCK, AUTO TRANS, POWER STEER/FRONT DISC, NICE!

Vintage grand touring luxury and plenty of V8 power are what makes this 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 454 SS tribute so appealing. In fact, if you love a good classic, this has a great level of detail to ignite your passion for vintage big block cruising.

Cortez Silver is a terrific factory-correct color on this car. It's the same that was offered on the Chevelles and Camaros, and it also sets the tone of precious metal sophistication. And that's exactly what a Monte Carlo SS is all about. This was updated later in life to remain smooth and shiny with the right look for a car that you want to drive with pride. Plus, the taut black vinyl roof furthers this premium image while also showcasing the pillarless hardtop profile. It's a formal look that's continued on the well-integrated chrome bumpers, full rocker trim w/SS callout, and exclusive Monte Carlo badging. And Rally wheels just seem like the right finishing touch for a vehicle that wants to be both a muscle car and a true classic Chevy.

The dual attitude of performance and luxury continues inside. For example, the black interior is what you want on a muscle car, but it's also a great coordinating color with the roof. Front bucket ... Please ask for the full description.

Front bucket seats, a center console, and a horseshoe shifter are the kind of things you'd want on a Super Sport Chevelle, but that car never gave all this walnut wood-like trim. Since this is a first-year Monte Carlo, it holds a special place in the hearts of many enthusiasts' hearts. So we're glad to see this one looking so stock. You even have the Delco AM radio there for display and controls for factory air conditioning (it will need servicing before blowing again.) And the thin-rimmed dual-spoke steering wheel, tilt steering column, and round gauges give you that proper premium vintage cruiser feel.

The top-dog in the Monte Carlo lineup was the 454 cubic-inch V8, and so it's important to have this big block look so stock in the engine bay. It's a fresher replacement motor, but it really seems up to you to tell that secret considering the bold orange block, matching valve covers, and air grabber w/callout could all pass for factory. In fact, many signs point to this being a real-deal Super Sport, but currently, we do not have definitive proof. The big block fires up nicely as it inhales deeply with the four-barrel carburetor. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is great for being both stout and smooth, and this feeds a 12-bolt rear end. Power steering, front power disc brakes, boxed rear suspension arms, and sway bars front & rear complete the right package for a coupe that loves to be both powerful and comfortable.

Complete with owner's manual, this is the first-year Monte Carlo with the style and power you really want. So don't let it slip away. Call today!!!
