221 FLATHEAD V8, 3-SPEED MANUAL TRANS, DUAL EXHAUST, 6 VOLT SYSTEM, SLICK COUPE!

This 1939 Ford Deluxe coupe is like turning back the clock. Any restorations within the last 80+ years have all been about keeping an authentic style. So love everything from the glossy lacquer paint, to the Flathead V8 power under the hood. It makes for a de detail-oriented time-capsule classic.

There is a reason many of us cherish the '39 Fords. They got the style just right when an update gave a more dignified look to the teardrop front end and waterfall grille. It seemed inspired by its premium sibling at Lincoln, and it meant that the every-man car now came with extra pride. The details look good with dual spotlights, chrome bumpers, straight trim, yellow-tinted fog lights, and skirts on the rear fenders. The whole package stays close to stock, right down to the two-piece wheel trim with whitewalls. And the paint strikes a very unique feeling. It's a glossy black done in a classic lacquer. It was applied about 35 years ago, and so it has aged-in correctly for many people to suspect it's the original application if you say nothing to them.

The interior continues the vintage style with the right features. The bench seat has an especially comfy look done in a classic plush cloth, ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

The bench seat has an especially comfy look done in a classic plush cloth, and a single-row bench seat car always makes for a cool cruiser. Plus, this has all the best classic pieces, including the wood-like tone of the dash, banjo-style steering wheel, floor shifter, vintage gauges, and even a working heater for those cold mornings on your way to a car show.

The ultra-clean engine bay gives you a clear view of the 221 flathead V8, and you're going to love showcasing this everywhere you park thanks to the high polish presentation. It's got the right touch of period-correct hot rot flair with the bright Edelbrock head covers, an Offenhauser intake, and dual Stromberg carbs on top (they were even rebuilt in 2019 to help keep this a strong runner.) It fires up nicely and runs with that hypnotic V8 tune. And the three-speed manual transmission gives you full control of this powerhouse.

The sale comes complete with title documentation, maintenance records, and build receipts. If you love a true classic, don't miss this coupe. Call today!!!
