STINGRAY CONVERTIBLE, 350 V8, 4-SPEED MANUAL, POWER STEER/4-WHEEL DISC, SHARP!!

This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has the well-respected look of a low-owner classic. Of course, what's really attractive is a shining red Stingray with the right features, including enhanced small block power and four-on-the-floor.

There's something great about the early C3 design. It combines the long and low American look with the Kamm-back styling of the Europeans. This car appears to have been well maintained throughout its life, with the fiberglass panels fitting nicely to hug the body's every curve snugly. In fact, a great way to understand the level of care in this car is with the paint. It was upgraded to this bold red, and the respray was about 20 years ago. The way it still holds an excellent shine today tells you about decades of the right investments and respect. These earlier C3s are also for the brightwork lovers, and it's great to see the thin bumpers, bright grille, and rocker panels all shining with distinction. And of course, no classic Chevy sports car looks complete without the iconic Rally wheels.

This car has a cool split personality. After all, the white folding roof gives this the cheery appeal of a Coca-Cola bottle. But there's also a black hardtop ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

But there's also a black hardtop that's available with the sale, and that seems to show off a more aggressive personality. And we hope you like that added intimidation because that spirit is also seen with no roof at all. It's a deep/dark interior that has the right quality upgrades, like newer carpeting and a retro-style AM/FM digital radio. And the aggressive darkness gets you ready for a driver's environment. You have high-back bucket seats, a center console in-between, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, crisp/clear gauges, and a shifter where you want to rest your right hand.

The engine bay is detailed with a crisp and clean presentation. And there are nice pieces like the bright finned valve covers and a shining air grabber with callout. This 350 cubic-inch V8 is a replacement motor, and they also made sure to upgrade it with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and an electronic distributor. It's a strong small block, and the four-speed manual transmission means you get to keep the control firmly in your hands. This car was made for taking the long way home, and components like the fully independent sports suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes prove it.

The sale comes complete with long-term maintenance records and build receipts. This is the driver's classic that has been respected by true enthusiasts. So if you want a classic that was made to hit the road, call today!
