This 1971 Chevrolet C20 Cheyenne Custom Camper is the kind of vehicle that gets attention from real truck people. Maybe it's the cool/classic two-tone, classic-style interior, or the heavy-duty C20 features. But while this is a real truck, it's also a real classic. So features like cold-blowing air conditioning and enhanced V8 power make it an appealing cruiser, too.
When it comes to 1970s Chevy trucks, the color Ochre just seems to define the generation. It has that earthy look that doesn't get replicated too often today. It's a signpost to let people know it's a true classic, but the presentation here is far from dated. That's because there was a solid investment in a respray that gives this a terrific shine. Plus, the white center section, full-length trim dividing line, and good panels are all part of why this presents so well today. The trim tag tells us this is a Camper Special pickup. That means features like a heavier duty suspension and a long bed (now with a protective liner paint.) So it makes this extra-duty C20 extra-handy. And while we doubt you're really going to drop a slide-in camper, it's just a nice detail that gives this added distinction among real truck ... Please ask for the full description.

And while we doubt you're really going to drop a slide-in camper, it's just a nice detail that gives this added distinction among real truck enthusiasts.
The interior is another lesson in vintage style with modern appeal. For example, the bench seat has the classic western-style pattern embossed in it, but it feels far fresher than anything from the 1970s. The door panels, carpeting, and dash pad all coordinate in a clean and fresh black. They even got the little details right, like the matching headliner and working dome light. Plus, there are nice comforts that are well-integrated, like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input and Vintage Air air conditioning. And the upgraded wood-trimmed steering wheel feels terrific in your hands.
The engine is a 350 cubic-inch V8, as advertised on the front fenders. But you can also tell there has been nice investments there by the way you have shining accessories and the bold orange block radiates within the tidy dark engine bay. This V8 was enhanced with a Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, and Hooker long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are also nice supporting components like the aluminum radiator and Chevrolet cast valve covers. It's the kind of solid powerhouse that feels good for real truck duty, and at the same time, it's smooth enough for an easy all-around cruiser. That's why it also has features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front.
The Camper Special trucks always are a bit more distinctive, and this one does with added power, flair, and comfort. So it makes for an awesome C20 you can't resist. Call today!!!
