This is a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette that has a look that seems to combine Corvette Summer with some Greenwood vibes. And you don't even have to know what that means to appreciate a coupe with custom style, growling side pipes, four-one-the-floor, and a power-built dual-quad small block under the hood.
A metallic gray like this will always be attractive, but the color was likely chosen for a reason. The trim tag reveals that this was a 25th-anniversary car! So it started out as a rare C3, and now it's a true one-of-one. The road to uniqueness starts with the front end. Instead of the headlights rising from the hood, they are recessed into this custom one-piece front end. In fact, while the headlights don't raise, plenty of elements of the hood do. You have a custom triple air scoop setup. There's even a cowl in the middle outlined in a lighter gray (which really seems to pay tribute to the 25 anniversary Special Edition's paint theme.) Along the sides are some wicked-looking side pipes, but they are in-between rather tasteful 15-inch lattice-style wheels for a beauty and brawn kind of style. And the rear smoothly transitions into the spoiler. And we love the convex tail lights ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
And we love the convex tail lights recessed into the extended and smooth rear bumper. As you look over the full package, the whole car has a distinct and attractive attitude, but it also isn't trying to be a World of Wheels custom. It has the power, features, and overall finish that lends it more to having fun out in the auditorium parking lot rather than just being a static display inside the hall. And if you drive your classics, you wouldn't want it any other way.
The interior continues the custom presentation with a nice mix of speed and comfort. In fact, the seats show a good mix of both. These are the later C3 well-bolstered buckets that are great for hugging your body in the corners, and they also have a stylish look right down to the custom stitching. There are nice features like T-tops power windows, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) There's a terrific driver's car feel with upgrades like the newer sports steering wheel on a tilt column, carbon fiber trim, silver-faced gauges, and supplementary readouts - including a large AutoMeter AutoGage tach prominently mounted on top of the dash. That last one goes particularly well with the stick shift.
While the appearance of this Corvette is impressive, it's what's under the hood that makes all the difference. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8, and you know from those two air grabbers that this is the sure sign of dual Holley four-barrel carburetors. We're told this is a full performance build that includes a bored .60 over kit (365ci total), an Edelbrock RPM cam with .510 lift, Scorpion roller rockers, upgraded pushrods, Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads, and an Offenhauser intake. There are also the right supporting components, like the full MSD ignition system, an Edelbrock water pump, a high-volume oil pump, and a four-row radiator. Plus, the header-fed side pipes provide added power and a serious growl to the full package. The four-speed manual transmission has an upgraded flywheel and clutch to put the power confidently in your hands. This is serious power, and it also has proper handling. That means style four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and a fully independent sports suspension with VBP adjustable rear connecting arms.
This is the distinct custom Corvette that was made to make sure you'll love driving around and showing off its unique style everywhere. So if you want all eyes on you, call today!
