This is a very stock style, but there also have been some more recent investments in upgrades, like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and an HEI distributor. The V8 fires up nicely with a feeling of proper care, and there's a good tune out of the dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission was built to be both stout and smooth, and it feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end.
