STRONG 327 V8 W/ DOUBLE HUMP HEADS, AUTO TRANS, PWR STEER/4-WHEEL DISC, SOLID!!

The 1940 Ford business coupe is always popular, but few are built to this level. With slick paint, a custom leather-lined A/C interior, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a powerful small block, it's a full package that has exactly what you want from every angle.

The extended trunks of these business coupes were a favorite of moonshiners... but they never had it this good. The minty green is a great color to represent its era, but there's a smoothness and hint of metallic that let you know this is a more modern application. But the whole first impression is really about vintage charm, and the brightwork really helps with that. The grille has an art deco kind of appeal. The full-length trim highlights the straightness of the steel body as well as the curve of the trunk. And the two-piece wheel trim draws your eye to those classic whitewalls. This is such a well-done build that it even spent time on the turntable showcase at Summit Racing's Atlanta store to serve as a reminder of what a great project can turn out to be.

While this is absolutely vintage on the outside, they invested a ton to make sure you got every modern convenience on the inside. After all, they never ... Please ask for the full description.

While this is absolutely vintage on the outside, they invested a ton to make sure you got every modern convenience on the inside. After all, they never had supple leather bucket seats like this in the 1940s. They even individual power adjust to the ideal position. The tan on the seats coordinates with the carpeting, shift boot, headliner, rear shelf, trunk, and door panels for a quality uniform appearance. And speaking of the door panels, you can tell how much attention when into the build just by the clean and stylish design. This is loaded with great features like cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input for your most modern music players. The classic dual-spoke steering wheel is on tilt column, and that gives you a clear view to the upgraded digital gauges that have a cool red glow.

Just like a true moonshiner coupe, this one now has a hotter motor than stock. It's a 327 cubic-inch V8. It looks clean, with tidy hoses, belts and wires, and polished components. And that gives you a nice view of go-fast goodies like double-hump heads, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and shorty headers feeding a Flowmaster dual exhaust. This is built to be a strong total package, and so it's also supported by the right pieces, like a Fluidampr harmonic balancer and an electric cooling fan. The front suspension looks great with tubular A-arms and adjustable coilovers. Plus, you have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and the superior stopping power of four-wheel power disc brakes.

Business coupes are always in-demand for their outlaw personality, but this one's true desirability is because it's a total package thoughtful build. And since it's ready to hit the streets right now, you need to call today!
