304 V8, SMOOTH SHIFTING 3 SPD MANUAL, PS/PB, FRT DISC, RHINO PAINT, NICE IN/OUT!

This 1978 Jeep CJ7 is one rugged machine. It's presented in the kind of outdoor-ready look that gives the classic CJ an everlasting appeal. It has liner body paint, updated V8 power, and plenty of other components to make it a fearless off-roader. But the total package also has a level of thoughtfulness in its ruggedness that makes this one uniquely premium.

The attitude starts with the paint. A bold red is great when you want to be a bit more aggressive, but this really turns it up a notch. It's actually rugged rhino liner paint, and it's an evenly applied application. But if you're looking for smoothness, then you already don't get the point of this one. It's a mean machine with components to back up its intimidating style. Up front is a steel bumper with a Smittybilt XRC winch and tow hooks. The sides have wide fender flares, making black wheels, wide Dick Cepek tires, and steel rock slider step rails. And there's more hardy steel on the rear with a trailer hitch and tow hooks attached. The bumper even integrates a full-size spare on the swing-away rear mount. It makes for a full package that is unmistakably robust, but you can also tell there was extra thought in the way it all came ... Please ask for the full description.

It makes for a full package that is unmistakably robust, but you can also tell there was extra thought in the way it all came together.

There's a bikini top and soft half doors for some added civility, but a Jeep like this really just loves to be open to the world. So the full red and black style continues inside. Just like the exterior, there have been the right investments inside to be thoughtful about the Jeep lifestyle. That's why there's liner paint sealing the inner tub, and the upholstery is durable but comfortable vinyl. There are nice additions for a better cruiser, like a locking center console, cup holders, and an AM/FM stereo with USB input and Bluetooth. And this one is a better driver for anytime enjoyment thanks to well-bolster front bucket seats and a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel on a tilt column.

Under this hood is the Jeep/AMC 304 cubic-inch V8. It has an updated look with polished valve covers and air cleaner, and it inhales deeper with a four-barrel carburetor. There's an overall look of clean and newer components that let you know the investment was not just about the style you can see. The V8 is a torque master, and so it delivers the kind of rock-crawling muscle you want in a Jeep. You take full control of it with the smooth shifting three-speed manual transmission. This goes well with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted stance, and deep tread off-road tires for proper off-road ability. Plus, newer bushings, newer leaf springs, and the clean color-matched frame give you a level of quality not often seen or felt. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs to make for an all-around solid-driving CJ.

Complete with maintenance records, this classic Jeep has the right upgrades to deliver the sharp-looking and enhanced-ability CJ you've been waiting for. Call today!!!
