260 V8, 4SPD TRANS, RUNS/DRIVES WELL, CLEAN IN/OUT, GR8 COLORS, READY 2 CRUISE!!

This 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 has an aggressive red look inside and out. And you'll see it back up this appearance with an upgraded dual-quad V8, four-on-the-floor, and a growling exhaust note. So dig into the details on this one, because it knows how to balance vintage looks with classic street machine upgrades. The result is the speedy kind of coupe you would have made back in the day.

This represents a time when Ford was in-between the post-war tailfin era and the brazen muscle cars. So the look has classic elements like the big chrome bumpers, intricate hardtop details, and jet-inspired taillights. But the upgraded vibrant red also signals that this one is a bolder coupe. The body panels remain straight, so the white streak within the full-length trim line remains almost seamless... like an arrow pointing the car forward. It's a thoughtful package that really gets the classic street machine look correct, right down to the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. And those redline tires really do look best on this speedy red machine.

The interior has been restored to feel fresh, and it delivers a terrific classic attitude with two rows of bench seats, and big '60s-style legroom. But ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

But there's something more going on here. The full red package has a speedy vibe. And your first view beyond the classic steering wheel is the vintage Gas Master vacuum gauge and line tach. Plus, there's a full auxiliary gauge trio sitting prominently on top of the dash. And you just know that the Hurst floor shifter is just calling out from your right hand.

Under the hood Is where this one really starts to show off its classic street machine attitude. Ford's small block V8 really started to earn a reputation for being hardy and upgradeable during this era. So this one showcases the best of it all, including hi-po 289 heads, forged Ross pistons, roller rockers, 1.72 rocker arms, H-beam connecting rods, ARP bolts, classic Edelbrock finned valve covers, Offenhauser intake, and two Carter four-barrel carburetor sitting on top to make sure this V8 inhales deeply. There are even some nice more modern supporting components, like the MSD coil and aluminum radiator. It all looks fresh, because there's less than 2,000 miles on the engine build. The X-pipe dual exhaust exits through glasspacks for that classic rumble. You are in complete control of this enhanced V8 and its thunder thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Traction bars, lowering blocks, and a limited-slip rear end all help make sure that all the power gets to the pavement properly. There are even new shock, springs, and bushings all added to keep this feeling solid on the road.

Complete with owner's manual, this is the cool classic done for a true '60s street machine look and feel. So if you really love a vintage package that done nicely, don't miss this special Fairlane 500 hardtop. Call now!
