SHARP SHORT BED VINTAGE CHEVY! STRONG 350 V8, AUTO TRANS, GREAT COLORS!

It's no secret that we love these handsome Chevy trucks, and this tastefully put-together 1968 Chevrolet C10 pickup delivers all the things we love about the Advanced Series design. With a great color combination, a very strong small block V8, and a comfortable interior, you get a truck that's daily driver friendly but sharp enough to qualify for a spot at the local car show.

You can tell even at a glance that this is a pretty special truck. It's clean and sleek, at once familiar and unique, leading you to wonder what else is in store. Well, for starters, the truck was restored and nicely painted over pretty good bodywork, so this square-jawed workhorse now has a very sleek look. It's got a few custom touches too – smooth roll pans in place of the bumpers, a tear-drop hood cowl, the black vinyl cover over the bed, and those late-model Silverado alloys that set the truck's exciting stance, although none of those changes alter the vintage spirit of this C10. It's mostly a smoothed slate as well, with only fender badges and stock 'Chevrolet' script in the decals, although one look at that iconic front grille and everyone will know exactly what time it is. The paint is driver-quality all the ... Please ask for the full description.

The paint is driver-quality all the way, not without its imperfections and even rather textured compared to some of the newer finishes we see, but from a couple feet back it still presents very well. If you're looking for an honest truck that doesn't mind attention, this is it.

You get a little more than just a working-class interior with this C10, with some tasteful upgrades that were very well executed. A later-model bench seat was swapped-in and wrapped in handsome tan vinyl upholstery that does a fantastic job of looking like real leather, and the big bench is very comfortable and firm with solid yet supple padding underneath. That beautiful seat upholstery is matched with plush carpets, matching door panels with arm rests, and a custom headliner that really ties the whole interior together nicely. The original gauges are still in place, augmented with a couple auxiliary dials that were added to the original bezel, and a 3-spoke steering wheel was painted to match the exterior and really pops inside the otherwise conservative cabin. There's also a retro-style AM/FM/AUX stereo in the factory dash-slot and a tall Lokar shifter jutting out from the floorboard, so everything feels quite up-to-date from behind the wheel.

More great stuff is happening under the hood, where you'll find a great-running 350 cubic inch small block V8 swapped in from a later-model ('77-'79) Chevrolet. The engine bay is very clean and well-finished, with shiny black inner fenders flanking a neatly dressed engine block covered in Chevrolet Orange enamel, to go along with a shiny Edelbrock air cleaner and matching valve covers. With an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and a polished performance intake, and an HEI distributor, it certainly has plenty of pep for a vintage pickup truck. It's got that awesome throaty idle and thanks to long-tube headers and a pair of chambered mufflers on the dual exhaust, the soundtrack is racy, not trucky like you'd expect. The TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and with acceleration-friendly gears in the 12-bolt rear end, this is one pickup that's shockingly quick off the line. Late-model Silverado wheels finish the updated look and are wrapped in 255/45/20 Continental radials with plenty of tread left, and not only do they look great but they also help plant the power for this lightweight truck.

Nicely finished trucks like this aren't easy to build and there's likely far more than the asking price tied up in it. So, stop shopping for a project and take this C10 home instead. Call now!
