BEAUTIFUL FRESH BUILD! SUPERCHARGED LS1, TREMEC 6 SPD, A/C, PS/B, FRT DISC, WOW!

Some cars just lend themselves to customization, and the wicked stance and show-stopping, two-tone paint scheme on this 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Restomod looks so right, you wonder why the factory didn't offer them this way from the start. With a supercharged LS1 engine, a quick-shifting 6-speed gearbox, and a killer A/C and bucket seat interior, this gorgeous A-Body is armed like no other muscle car in our inventory. Beautifully finished in the finest custom traditions coupled with a big heaping of modern flair, it's a show-stopper that's so well built you can drive it every day.

If you like the look, you're sure to be impressed by the quality of this dialed-in restomod. The foundation is a laser-straight hardtop body, and with work done to a high level, you can see details like the subtle crease on the rear quarters that give the fenders a muscular look, and the wheel-to-wheel indentation above the rockers is straight enough to set your watch to. The original hood has been retained, and even the bumpers, bright front grille, and gorgeous rear trim were all replaced with factory-correct pieces that looks amazing up against the vibrant custom finish. All the original badges are still in place too, and we commend the builders for their restraint – it would've been very easy to slap a bunch of fake 'SS' insignia all over, but brought back the stock stuff instead. With that being said, the custom work is evident as well, starting with that two-tone paint job – a combination of Gray Metallic over slick Black Metallic, separated by a bright silver/orange/yellow custom pinstripe and rear quarter graphic that was painted on and buried under layers after layer of clearcoat. It all works together extremely well, with a show-quality curb appeal that's practically second-to-none. Now those are certainly bold words, but if you can find an imperfection, please let us know, because up to this point we haven't seen one. Dig how smooth the flanks are, how beautifully sharply the transition from one color to the other has been rendered, and the incredible shine provided by a miles-deep modern urethane and crystal-clear clearcoat. Excellent chrome and stainless stay in the background, accenting the bodywork without becoming overpowering.

The interior keeps things a bit more reserved, although don't for a minute think it's not as high-end and dialed-in as the exterior. A handsome pair of low-back bucket seats wrapped in top-quality black vinyl upholstery lead the way, joined a matching bench seat in the rear, and a set of handsome black door panels at the flanks. The reworked dash mimics the exterior paint scheme perfectly, and the builders did a great job replacing the rather bland original bezel with a custom unit that's now filled with a host of AutoMeter Phantom gauges enlisted to keep an accurate eye on the modern monster under the hood. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD/AUX head unit that manages the car's kickin' stereo was neatly installed into the custom bezel as well, along with billet knobs for the lights and wipers, while the leather-wrapped chrome steering wheel was mounted atop a tilt column as one of the highlights of the sporty cabin. And if you think that wheel feels great in your hands, wait until you get your mitts around the cue-ball topped, Hurst 6-speed manual shifter that splits the seats, practically taunting you to cycle through this Chevy's gears. Plush black carpets line the floors and there's a taut black headliner above, and both work together to seal the cabin up tightly, which is great news for the efficiency of the under-dash R134a A/C that's blowing nice and cold. A-Body's came equipped with large trunks, and this one is very still spacious despite the custom Kicker stereo system built into the back panel (featuring two amplifiers and a booming subwoofer), and it's been neatly finished with spatter paint and a black carpet mat on the floor.

To back up those killer good-looks there better be some serious hardware under the hood, and there's not much better than the shiny Supercharged LS1 nestled in the custom engine bay. The modern, fuel-injected block drops right into this Chevelle's engine bay, but before that happened, everything was painted, polished, and prepped for show. Check out the slick inner fenders and smoothed firewall, and the careful way all the lines and plumbing have been routed around the engine. Turning back to the monster that lies within: A noticeable cam provides a lope in the motor that can shake up the pavement, and as if it needed any more oomph, aluminum heads, a cold-air intake, serpentine belt system, and of course that giant Magnuson supercharger all work in unison to give this engine other-worldly power and torque. A thick aluminum radiator keeps everything cool, while ceramic-coated long-tube headers are linked to a stainless-steel, X-pipe dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers that sounds EPIC. A quick-shifting, 6-speed manual transmission takes full advantage of this magnificent brute with the help of a more-than-capable clutch that flies through the gears and handles all the power with ease. Straight-line speed wasn't the only consideration in this professional build, as the front clip was augmented with modern power steering, tubular A-arms, and a big sway bar, while the rear features coilovers, trailing arms, and another big sway bar, and all those performance components make the driving experience extremely exciting. Power front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors are a welcome upgrade that help stop the whole show on command, and the flashy, staggered Coys come wrapped in 235/45/17 front and 285/40/18 rear performance radials that finish the look perfectly.

Beautifully built and fully sorted, this beauty is ready to dominate for years to come. Call today!
