Inside, we find a black and brown vinyl and cloth interior highlighted by a roomy reupholstered bench seat. A two-spoke, power-assisted tilt steering wheel shows off its V8 center cap and sits just in front of a six-pod Intellitronix gauge cluster, accentuated by a large 160 mph speedometer and an 8,000 rpm tachometer, each flanked by a set of auxiliary gauges on either side. Heat, defrost, and the all-important air-conditioning allow this cabin to stay livable year-round.

Under the hood, we find a reliable and powerful 5.3-liter Vortec V-8 engine. This engine was freshened up with a Melling high-volume oil pump, new Cloyes timing chain, new main rear seal, front timing chain cover seal, and a new water pump. After a custom tune by EFI Achemy in Green Cove Springs, Florida, this small block has a healthy rumble emanating from its Xcelerator dual exhaust. Power is routed through a floor-shifted 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission before being sent out to the 3.70-geared nine-inch rear end.
